We were put in touch with a 8-weeks pregnant woman, Mom "X." She has an abortion scheduled for Saturday, January 30th.

Mom "X" and the father of her baby were both struggling to make ends meet when she lost her job due to COVID-19. The father has a very low-income job and he is already not able to provide for her and their one child. Their financial situation is not permanent but Mom and Dad "X" feel so hopeless that they scheduled this abortion.

When Mom “X" tried to talk to the abortion clinic about her other options, they told her that pro-life organizations like Let Them Live make empty promises and that her only option in this situation is to have an abortion. When she continued to ask questions, the "counselor" described the excruciating process of a surgical abortion in order to pressure her to abort sooner.

Neither parent wants this abortion but they also don't see a way that they can make ends meet with the added expense of another mouth to feed. No parent should have to choose between feeding their other children and their unborn child.

We must be the support they need to raise their baby. We can offer them a hand up to become financially stable so they can live without the pain and regret of an abortion.
