Let Them Live is actively counseling a 19-weeks pregnant mom, "Anna". She has an abortion scheduled for December 27th.*

“Anna” is 19 weeks pregnant, and has an abortion scheduled for Monday, December 27th. Although Anna doesn’t want an abortion, she is desperate and feels it is her only option. 

Earlier this year, Anna contracted COVID-19 and was fired from her job for taking too many sick days. After losing her job, Anna fell behind on her rent and she and her two children were evicted from their home. At first, her family lived together in a hotel, but Anna used up her savings paying for a room and she and her children are now homeless.

Usually, mothers facing homelessness are able to seek help from loved ones, but Anna has no one to turn to. The father of her baby is uninvolved, and she has no family or friends nearby to offer their support. Consequently, Anna feels incredibly fearful and alone.

Sadly, the holiday season has only exacerbated Anna’s feelings of desperation. As many of us gather together to exchange gifts and share in the holiday spirit, Anna struggles to provide food and shelter for her children. Her and her children are spending the holidays alone in a homeless shelter. 

Furthermore, she worries for the baby growing inside of her. She cares for her baby, but wonders how she can possibly provide for another child?

The Let Them Live team has worked hard to assure Anna that we will support her through this trying time, but we can’t do it without you. We need your help to get Anna back on her feet, and to give her the confidence she needs to choose life for her precious baby. 

Together, we can show Anna that she is not alone, and that she has nothing to fear!
