Angie is a young mother of a three-year-old girl and has aspirations to return to school.* Her daughter’s father ended their relationship some time ago, and Angie began seeing another man. When she became pregnant, he promptly severed all contact and abandoned her. It was only the beginning of her misfortune.

Angie had been working full-time, but due to her absences over an illness her daughter was enduring, she was fired. Being out of work quickly depleted her savings, and she became concerned that she would not get hired anywhere else because of her pregnancy. She has family nearby, but they do not have enough space for Angie and her daughter. Her daughter’s father is not involved in their lives and offers no emotional or financial support. As a result, the two of them have been living out of her car.

With auto payments and other expenses mounting, Angie became increasingly desperate and scheduled a two day, late term abortion on September 18th & 19th. As fate would have it, one of her friends was previously helped by Let Them Live. She told Angie about us, and Angie made contact with our counselors.

In one of their talks, she said, “I think babies are a blessing, and abortion is not something I really want.” Angie has experienced her share of troubles in life and wants nothing more than to get back on her feet and have a place of her own to give her kids a good life. But, like so many mothers in her situation, the hope of any way other than abortion seems impossible. We can be the other way for Angie. If we stand with her, meet her needs, and show her how loved she and her baby are, we can give her the confidence to choose life for her precious baby.

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Angie can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
Housing + Utilities | Pregnancy and job / financial counseling | Car Payments | Debt Relief | Other Related Expenses
Note: These expenses may be adjusted in the future based on additional expenses incurred during and after her pregnancy. With your help, we can save Angie and her 20-week baby from abortion! Donors will receive updates on Angie and her baby throughout and after her pregnancy.
