Lynn is currently 8 weeks pregnant and canceled an abortion that was scheduled for November 10th.* She recently escaped the horrors of sex trafficking and has been living in a safe house since then.

When Lynn discovered she was pregnant, it came as a huge shock and she has been really struggling emotionally since then. That coupled with her financial fears are leading her to plan another 8-week abortion.

Her living situation has been a constant source of stress. The conditions are not ideal for raising a newborn and there is very little privacy. There is also a time limit for how long people can stay, and Lynn’s limit is coming up soon. Because of this, she is afraid that she will end up homeless.

Lynn recently reconnected with her old friends and family. Now, she’s concerned they will all try and convince her to abort when she tells them she’s pregnant. Lynn has experienced the pain of an abortion before and can’t imagine going through it again. But her fears about her situation are growing day by day.

She has applied for food stamps and other government support, but will need our help in the meantime. The safe house has been trying to help her find housing, but the process has been painfully slow. She has been unable to work, has almost no income, and does not have transportation.

The fears and uncertainties about the future led Lynn to schedule her November 10th abortion. Fortunately, one of the workers at the safe house referred her to Let Them Live when she heard about Lynn’s situation. Lynn was soon speaking with our counselors, and canceled the abortion. Now, we are afraid she will reschedule the abortion due to a fear of not being able to provide for herself or a newborn baby.

Lynn has endured many terrible trials in her young life. All she wants is a house and a job so she can heal from the trauma of her past and provide a good life for her and her family. If we stand together and meet her needs, we can not only show her how much she and her baby are loved, but we can give her the confidence to do what she truly wants to do: choose life for her precious 8-week baby!

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Lynn can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
Safe Housing + Utilities | Groceries | Pregnancy and job / financial counseling | Clothing and Other Necessities | Therapy and Trauma Counseling | Other Related Expenses
Note: These expenses may be adjusted in the future based on additional expenses incurred during and after her pregnancy. With your help, we can save Lynn and her 8-week baby from abortion! Donors will receive updates on Lynn and her baby throughout and after her pregnancy.
