URGENT: Single Mom of Three Struggling in Hawaii Schedules Abortion Saturday, November 20th

Let Them Live is actively counseling a 6-weeks pregnant mom, "Valerie". She has an abortion scheduled for Saturday, November 20th*.

“Valerie” is 6 weeks pregnant and has an abortion scheduled for Saturday, November 20th.

As a single mom, she is already struggling to provide for herself and her 3 other children as the manager of a small family owned restaurant on Oahu. Valerie works hard but is afraid that she could lose her job at any moment due to rumors that the restaurant she manages may close permanently due to Covid.

Valerie does not qualify for any social programs even though she can barely keep up with her bills and has no money to spare.

To make matters more difficult, her husband recently left her and took their savings with him. She is fighting him in court but the process will take some time. As of now, he does not pay her any child support.

Valerie would consider leaving Hawaii due to the extremely high cost of living, but can’t due to shared custody with her ex-husband. With a new baby, she is sure she will no longer be able to afford living there but is unable to leave.

She has no support from any friends or family and feels incredibly lonely and hopeless. She
does not want to get an abortion, but with everything going on, has no idea what else to do. We will help her with her bills during her pregnancy, and also make sure she gets the child support she needs to make things work in Hawaii.

With your help, we can give Valerie the financial security she desperately needs and comfort her through these incredibly difficult times. Please help us support Valerie and her precious family!
