Let Them Live is actively counseling a 12-week pregnant mom, "Madison". She has an abortion scheduled for Tuesday, March 29th.*

For nearly a decade, Madison struggled to keep her family together. Madison’s husband was diagnosed with a rare mental illness, early on in their marriage. This led to cycles of physical and emotional abuse.

Madison suffered greatly at his hands, but persisted to fight for their relationship. How could she not? Her sons needed a father, and she loved the man that her husband could be.

Regardless of her commitment, Madison feared her husband’s violent outbursts. He would tear through the house like a twister—carving a path of destruction in his wake. Then, he would disappear for days, intensifying Madison’s fears. Despite this, he would always come back.

But this last time was different.

Madison’s husband did not return and she stumbled away with a broken nose and several broken ribs.Then, she discovered she was pregnant.

In the past, Madison had been required to stay home to care for her kids while her husband worked. Since her husband is now gone, however, she has no means to keep up with her bills. Now, Madison fears she and her children are going to be evicted and suffer homelessness.

In between sobs, Madison confessed to her Let Them Live counselor, “I don’t believe God honors abortion. But I also don’t think that He understands what I’m going through and why I need to kill my baby.” Then she broke down, exclaiming “I can’t believe I just said that!”

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselor identified so that she can keep her baby:

Madison does NOT want to go through with her abortion, but she doesn’t see any other way. If we can support her through this time, she believes she will be okay, but we can’t do it without you!
