Let Them Live is actively counseling Lauren, who is 31-weeks pregnant and has a late term, two-day abortion scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th. She had an abortion appointment scheduled for last Thursday, but missed it when she decided to call us from the lobby. Although that was the last day she could abort in her state, she rescheduled for an out-of-state late-term abortion.

Lauren never really planned on keeping her baby, but, deep down, maintained hope that her boyfriend would come around. When she finally accepted that he wasn’t going to help and had completely abandoned her, Lauren began to panic.

Lauren’s boyfriend was the only support she could hope for. Since he walked away, the thought of giving birth alone is pushing her toward abortion.

When Lauren first spoke with us, she told us, “There is nothing you can do, I just need support.” At first, she wasn’t aware of what exactly we do as she was handed an LTL flyer at the abortion clinic. She simply didn’t believe it but wanted to hear us out.

Since Lauren needs companionship more than anything, our plan is to send two of our pregnancy counselors to support her during delivery and in the weeks after she gives birth.

We’ve budgeted $31,500 so that Lauren will have the direct support she longs for as well as money to cover her rent and utilities while she is on maternity leave. But we need 362 supporters to donate $50 each in order to fully support Lauren and her baby.
