Elaina's Story

When Elaina found out she was pregnant with her second child, she told her fiancé the news. He immediately started to pressure Elaina to have an abortion. Because of her severe pregnancy-related illness and the lack of support from the father, she was beginning to believe abortion was her only option.
One day, she stumbled upon Let Them Live's website and decided to send an email.
That simple message changed her life.
Elaina was immediately connected with one of our counselors. On that call, we learned that her fiancé abandoned her and her illness prevented her from working. Because she couldn't work, she was unable to afford rent, transportation, and childcare. Our counselors assured Elaina that we would be there for her and her children. Because of our donors, we were able to do just that!
