When Brooklyn reached out to Let Them Live her life was in shambles. “You’re stuck,” the father of her baby said. “You aren’t going anywhere with a baby.” After pronouncing these lies Brooklyn’s boyfriend abandoned her.
Unfortunately, Brooklyn had grown accustomed to this kind of treatment. The father of her other two children had abandoned her as well. Only, this time, Brooklyn’s situation was worse.
Shortly after Brooklyn discovered she was pregnant, she was the victim of a hit-and-run accident which totaled her car and left her with unaffordable repairs. With no transportation, her hours at work were cut, and she began to fall behind on her rent.
As Brooklyn’s life was upended, the last words of her ex echoed in her head, having seemingly come true.
Then, she contacted Let Them Live and the truth became apparent. Her ex was wrong. Brooklyn wasn’t stuck. She could make it with a baby.
