Delaney's Story

Elayna is so thankful her mother chose life!

Delaney was struggling already when she found out she was pregnant. She was a survivor of abuse and was living with her mother. Like many of our mothers she really wanted to keep her baby but didn’t want to bring her baby into a bad situation. During one of her chats with her counselor, however, she shared a beautiful dream she’d been given, that helped her feel at peace about choosing life for her baby.

But healing from her trauma was not all she needed to do to create a good situation for her baby. She needed a job and a place to live and like the fighter she is, Delaney got right to work! 

The birth of little Elayna was not an easy one. First Elayna had to be born via C-section and then when she was finally out in the world, she was diagnosed with the flu! Thankfully, (due to many prayers) baby Elayna healed quickly and was soon released to her grateful mother!
