Harper's Story

Meet little Thomas. His older sibling was aborted and he almost was as well.

When Harper reached out to Let Them Live it was clear that her beliefs were in turmoil. She was the mother of a toddler and knew, deep down, that the child inside the womb is as much a child as the one outside the womb. Yet, despite this knowledge, Harper’s husband had successfully pressured her into getting an abortion a year prior. The trauma of this procedure tore at her everyday.

When she and her husband conceived again, Harper feared that she would have to abort another one of their babies to appease her husband. They were both in school, in massive debt, and Harper’s husband foresaw another child as an obstacle to financial freedom.

Eventually, Harper’s Let Them Live counselor convinced Harper to trust her instincts about her baby’s worth. With your support, we were able to spare Harper from another abortion, save little Thomas’s life, and help his parents pay off their debts.
