Phoenix's Story

Meet Phoenix's baby
boy,
Percival!
Phoenix's Story:

Welcome to the world little Percival! 

Phoenix knew her past would make her family unsupportive of her new pregnancy. Having two previous children (one given up for adoption) and one abortion, Phoenix did not feel prepared to bring another baby into this world and knew she could not put another baby up for adoption. She also knew her history of addiction would not help her case. 

There were so many uncertain factors in her life that she was able to convince her baby’s father to support her abortion. However, she found out she was too far along for the pill, and although she was already feeling uncomfortable, decided to schedule another appointment. 

On her way out the day door of the clinic, she was handed a Let Them Live pamphlet. She knew this was a sign. With support from her counselors and her boyfriend, Phoenix realized that if she could overcome her addictions, she could also overcome the hurdles that would come with having a baby! 

It was with great joy that Lindsay delivered baby Percival on July 16th of 2021!

Phoenix was in extreme discomfort towards the end of her pregnancy, and was so relieved and overjoyed to finally meet little Percival.
