Teresa's Story

After grieving the loss of their miscarried child prior to Max, Teresa and her husband were so excited to be expecting another baby! However, their excitement quickly came to a halt when her husband lost his job and her income couldn’t cover their expenses. At one point, they barely had enough to even eat.
Feeling a sense of hopelessness, they began to wonder if abortion would be their only option. One night, she Googled “abortion” and “Planned Parenthood.” Saddened by the thought of abortion, she closed her tab and went to Facebook.
There, a Let Them Live Ad popped up! Teresa bravely reached out and started talking to one of our counselors. We assured her we loved her, cared about her and her baby, and would alleviate her concerns. We did just that!
Because of your donations and support, we were able to find Teresa a place to live and get her back on her feet.
