URGENT: Mom of 5 facing eviction schedules 19 week surgical abortion on Mar. 6th

When Ainsley found out she was pregnant, it filled her with dread.* Her life’s circumstances are far from ideal. She was trying to raise five kids in a small home when she lost her job. The father of her previous kids does not offer child support, and her baby’s father does not live with her. Essentially, Ainsley is doing everything alone. With the loss of her job causing her to fall behind on rent, eviction became a very real possibility.

Though the father is largely absent, he does not want her to abort. Her friends and family also want her to keep the baby and have tried telling her that they can help her figure it out. In spite of this support, when Ainsley looked at her situation, she became convinced that she simply could not do it. Her fears about her finances, the possibility of eviction, and what could happen to her kids led her to schedule a surgical abortion on March 6th.

Around this time, a pregnancy resource center recommended that Ainsley speak to Let Them Live. She explained her concerns to our counselor, telling her that even if she found a job, she would have to leave because of the pregnancy and would not be able to provide for her kids. Our counselor explained that temporary hardships should not determine whether her baby should live or die. 

Ainsley is very motivated to create a better life for her family and wants more than anything to have her baby. If we stand with her and help her to get back on her feet, she will have the confidence to choose life.

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Ainsley can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
