Let Them Live is actively counseling Candice, a 23-weeks pregnant mom with a late-term, two-day abortion scheduled for Friday and Saturday, August 5th and 6th*. We’re so glad that Candice has trusted us with her story. Now we can help her save her baby!

Candice really went out of her comfort zone asking us for help. She is very independent and strives to provide everything that she and her 4-year-old daughter need. When she found out about her pregnancy, she was extremely disappointed in her self-proclaimed “poor choices”. Initially, her thoughts turned toward abortion, but she decided to wait and see if she could make things work.

Candice’s pregnancy symptoms turned out to be more intense than she expected and all of the time off from work has put her in a financial crisis. So far, Candice has managed to keep the lights on by using credit cards. However, her line of credit will soon run out. Meanwhile, the debt she is racking up is like a trap closing around her.

Eviction is a real threat and the fear of losing everything is not only stressful but heartbreaking. Candice is terrified of what may happen to her 4-year-old if they end up homeless. Because of these concerns, Candice believes that getting an abortion is her only choice.

We know this isn’t true! Together, we have saved hundreds of lives and helped countless women—Candice and her family won’t be the first or the last!

Because of Candice’s particular needs we’ve budgeted to help her catch up on her bills and rent. We’re setting her up with financial coaching so that by the time she gives birth she’ll have had time to rebuild her savings.
