Cassidy is a mother of five and is currently 7 weeks pregnant.* When she discovered the news, her first thought was to get an abortion. Even though she has had an abortion before, her current situation has proven to be very difficult and she feels abortion is the only solution.

The father wants her to keep the baby and wants to support Cassidy and be there for her but he isn’t able to fully provide financially. Though Cassidy is very encouraged to have him with her, she knows it won’t fix their financial troubles. The stress of overdue bills piling up is all the more challenging because her family members have all passed away. In previous years, they were always there and proved to be a major support system for her and her other kids. Now that they are all gone, Cassidy feels very alone. To make things more challenging, she was recently let go from her job. She has tried to find work elsewhere, but has not had any promising leads. The bills have steadily accumulated, and Cassidy constantly feels the financial pressure.

Despite the father’s support, Cassidy scheduled an abortion. The clinic detected a heartbeat and was not able to perform the abortion but while she was still there, Cassidy made plans to travel out-of-state for another appointment. As she walked out of the abortion clinic, Cassidy was stopped by a sidewalk counselor and after talking for a while she was given information about Let Them Live. Cassidy made contact with us shortly afterwards and when she spoke with our counselors, she said, “I feel like life threw me a curveball and I’m trying to figure everything out. If I had an abortion scheduled in 15 minutes, I would do it.”

Cassidy has experienced her share of struggles. She wants nothing more than to find a job and build a better future for her family. Like many moms in Cassidy’s position, she does not truly want to abort but she feels that given her circumstances, abortion is her only option. We know this to be untrue so we are standing with Cassidy and raising the funds she needs to feel confident in choosing life! Please help us meet Cassidy’s needs so that we can assure her that choosing life for her precious baby will not prevent her from getting back on her feet and having a good life.

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Cassidy can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
Housing + Utilities | Transportation | Pregnancy and job / financial counseling | Childcare | Debt Relief | Other Related Expenses
Note: These expenses may be adjusted in the future based on additional expenses incurred during and after her pregnancy. With your donation, we can tangibly help Cassidy and prevent her 7-week baby from being aborted! Donors will receive updates on Cassidy and her baby throughout and after her pregnancy.
