URGENT: After Texas Abortion Ban, Courtney Schedules a 15-Week Out-of-State Abortion on Saturday, September 10th

Let Them Live is actively counseling Courtney, a 15-week pregnant mom with an out-of-state abortion scheduled for September 10th*. Because of the immense financial pressure she’s under, Courtney is prepared to spend what little money she has to get the abortion.

Courtney has experienced the stigma of single motherhood for years. She’s grown a thick skin and has always done right by her eldest daughter, who is from a previous relationship. Being totally independent, Courtney wasn’t looking for love, but she fell into it when she met Stanley. 

She thought she had finally met someone she could lean on for support. Sadly, their love wasn’t sustained as having a child changed their dynamic. Stanley left and since then Courtney has barely been making it work, as a single parent of her teenager and newborn. 

She is a server in a restaurant, but won’t be able to work as much once she gets further along in her pregnancy. This worries her, as her rent just went up significantly, making the difficult task of single motherhood even harder. 

Courtney has always worked hard to provide for her small family. She knows how to make a dollar stretch, but after just having a baby and facing an ever-growing expense list, Courtney doesn’t see how she’ll make it. 

We can’t sit idly by and let Courtney and her children struggle alone. Together, we will walk beside Courtney as her baby grows. By the time she gives birth, she’ll have some savings to rely on and new friends to see her through. 

Even if it’s just $5, by donating together, our small but mighty community will ensure she has a roadmap to self-sustainability, once again!
