URGENT: Parents of 5 order abortion pills from Planned Parenthood amid financial struggles

Cynthia & Eric are a young married couple with 5 children. Cynthia is currently 6 weeks pregnant with their 6th child.* When they found out about the pregnancy, it came as a shock. They did everything they could do to avoid pregnancy, but nonetheless, it happened. It was difficult for Cynthia & Eric to feel excitement about the news, and they began wondering how they could afford to bring another child into the world.

Eric is a hardworking man who owns his own business. After discovering that he was being ripped off by his advertisers, the work slowed down significantly. It became so bad that he had difficulty paying his employees. As a result, affording basic needs like rent, groceries, and other supplies became a strain. Cynthia stays at home with their kids, and she has been feeling the financial burden for some time. In addition to all these troubles, neither of them have support from their families or friends. Cynthia has begun to feel desperate with each passing day.  

Eric has not tried to push Cynthia in any direction, but he’s made it clear that “he has no idea how to provide for another baby.” He has not said so, but she thinks he would prefer her to abort. Though it is not what she wants to do, she nonetheless scheduled a time to pick up abortion pills at Planned Parenthood. Fortunately, she received a Facebook referral for Let Them Live shortly afterwards. 

Cynthia specified to our counselors that she truly does not want to abort. All she wants is the financial stability that can get her family back on their feet and be able to give her baby a good life. But like so many mamas in Cynthia’s situation, the circumstances look so bleak that she sees no other option but abortion. 

We can be the other option for Cynthia & Eric if we stand together and help meet their needs. If we show her how much she and her baby are loved, we can give her the confidence to choose life. We can save them from a lifetime of regret if we work together to provide for their needs during this trying time.

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Cynthia can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
