URGENT: Abandoned By Her Boyfriend and on the Verge of Homelessness, Elizabeth Schedules Abortion Friday, October 13

Elizabeth is a young mother of two and is currently 9 weeks pregnant.* Before the pregnancy, things were looking bright. Elizabeth and her boyfriend had talked about having kids one day, and she even left her job and moved to his city to be with him. She and her kids began staying at his sister’s place, and she eventually became pregnant. The moment she told him the news, he severed all contact and said that he wants her to move out at the end of the month.

This sudden change in circumstances made Elizabeth frightened about the future. Thoughts of her own traumatic past began to break down her confidence to have another baby. Her alcoholic mother forced her to take abortion pills when she became pregnant many years ago, and the trauma led her to begin abusing drugs and living in homeless shelters. She eventually became sober and tried very hard to recover from her situation. Now, with the threat of being homeless, abandoned, and her basic living expenses in jeopardy, Elizabeth scheduled an abortion. She knew she truly didn’t want to have an abortion and while researching her options, stumbled across Let Them Live’s website. She decided to reach out and was soon speaking with our counselors.

Elizabeth has been through many trials with very little help from anyone. All she wants is a safe place to live, baby supplies, and her basic needs to be met for herself and her kids. She truly does not want to abort but her current situation has led her to believe that abortion is the only way forward. It does not have to be this way because Let  Them Live can help! We can help set Elizabeth on a firm foundation for a better life. With your donation and support, we can meet Elizabeth’s needs, and assure her that she CAN choose life and that she and her baby are truly loved.

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Elizabeth can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
