URGENT: College Student Schedules Abortion Saturday, October 30th

Let Them Live is actively counseling a 10-weeks pregnant mom, "Gigi". She has an abortion scheduled for Saturday, October 30th*.

“Gigi” is 10 weeks pregnant and has an abortion scheduled for Saturday, October 30th. She was previously told she had miscarried but after pregnancy symptoms continued, she discovered she was still pregnant and is carrying a healthy baby.

Gigi just entered her sophomore year of college and is completely overwhelmed. She receives no support from her family. Once the father of the baby found out about the pregnancy, he refused to offer any help and abandoned Gigi. She is completely alone and has no friends or family to turn to for help.

Currently, she is living in a dorm on campus but was told that if she continues with her pregnancy, she will be kicked out. She has no idea where she would go since her parents want nothing to do with her and are verbally abusive and telling her she should abort. 

Gigi has been struggling to find a part-time job to help pay for college tuition, transportation, food, and now a place to live in addition to prenatal care. She is desperate to stay in school and not have to drop out, but doesn’t believe she can succeed without getting an abortion. 

She may feel like she needs an abortion to be successful in life, but that is a lie. With your help, we can encourage Gigi during this incredibly difficult time and remind her that she is strong and capable of parenting while finishing her education.
