“Kaitlyn” is a young mother of three and is currently 28 weeks pregnant.* When she found out about the pregnancy, it was anything but good news. Her relationship with her boyfriend had become more and more physically abusive, and when she told him, it only grew worse. When he wasn’t hurting her, he was pushing abortion on her.

The last thing Kaitlyn wanted to do was choose abortion, but her current circumstances kept making it more difficult to choose life. She is currently unemployed and her savings have drastically fallen since the pregnancy. It wasn't long before she fell behind on rent. Providing basic needs for herself and her kids has become an enormous challenge. Though she has friends and family who have offered support, her mother has been pushing very hard for her to abort. Her loss of finances, the domestic violence, and all the negative voices around her eventually pushed Kaitlyn over the edge. With great reluctance, she scheduled an abortion at Planned Parenthood on August 16th. While at the center, she remembered being told previously about Let Them Live. After finding us on social media, she quickly reached out and was soon speaking with our counselors. 

“I am terrified,” she said. “I will regret an abortion forever. But what else can I do?” Many moms in Kaitlyn’s situation ask the same question. Sadly, many believe that abortion is the only way. But we can be the other way for Kaitlyn. Join us, and we will stand together, support her with love, and meet her needs. Together, we can give her the confidence to choose life for her precious baby!

Here are the expenses that our crisis pregnancy counselors identified so that Kaitlyn can confidently carry her pregnancy to term:
